The vaccination campaign this month has been highly successful, with more than 135,000 vaccines administered in its first three days, the State Secretary for Territorial Administration of the Prime Minister's Office István György said at a press conference in Budapest yesterday, according to koronavirus.gov.hu.
György, who is also the head of the national vaccination working group, recalled that due to the rapid spread of the omicron variant, the vaccination campaign launched in December continued in January.
As part of that, those who want to get the coronavirus vaccine are welcome throughout the second half of the week, every Thursday and Friday afternoon, and on Saturdays, he said.
