11,400 Diagnosed With Flu-like Illness

According to an estimate based on the reports of doctors participating in the monitoring service, between October 30 and November 6, 11,400 people in the country went to the doctor with flu-like symptoms, the National Center for Public Health (NNK) announced on its website.
Some 147,400 people in the country consulted a doctor with symptoms of an acute respiratory infection, of which 11,400 were diagnosed with a flu-like illness.
Roughly 26.7% of those who went to the doctor with a flu-like illness were children under 14, some 31% were young adults aged 15-34, 27.7% were 35-59, and approximately 14.6% were over the age of 60.
