11,152 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

Some 11,152 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,114,260 according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 192 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 34,713.

The number of recovered patients rose to 891,691, while the number of active cases stands at 187,856.

Some 7,546 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 562 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,132,549, of whom 5,847,405 have already received their second vaccination. About 2.559 million people have already received their third vaccination.
