10,105 new COVID cases registered over last 3 days

Some 10,105 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary between December 17-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,228,400 according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.
A total of 366 patients died over the last three days, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 37,896.
The number of recovered patients rose to 1,048,633, while the number of active cases stands at 141,871.
Some 5,537 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 503 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,226,399, of whom 5,937,305 have already received their second vaccination. Approximately 3.104 million people have already received their third vaccination.
