1,652 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 84,848, with 1,652 new cases and 93 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll stands at 12,832.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 371,988 up from 370,336 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 274,308.
Currently, 3,648 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 289 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,210,549 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 19,633 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 68,969. Pest County is the second most affected, with 46,269 cases, followed by Hajdú-Bihar County (21,060 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 33,414.
Until now, 249,687 people have been vaccinated, and 84,452 of them have already received the second dose as well.
