1,561 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 84,150, with 1,561 new cases and 96 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll stands at 13,026.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 375,125 up from 373,564 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 277,949.
Currently, 3,601 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 298 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,229,242 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 20,254 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 69,585. Pest County is the second most affected, with 46,646 cases, followed by Hajdú-Bihar County (21,204 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 34,442.
Until now, 279,410 people have been vaccinated, and 101,652 of them have already received the second dose as well.
