1,307 new COVID-19 cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 92,094, with 1,307 new cases and 61 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.

The death toll stands at 12,524.

The total number of confirmed cases stands at 367,586 up from 366,279 yesterday.

The number of recoveries has risen to 262,968.

Currently, 3,562 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 268 of whom are on ventilators.

So far 3,158,288 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 19,075 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.

Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 68,223. Pest County is the second most affected, with 45,658 cases, followed by Hajdú-Bihar County (20,800 cases).

The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 31,333.

Until now, 222,005 people have been vaccinated, and 56,825 of them have already received the second dose as well.
