1,183 new COVID cases registered over last 3 days

Some 1,183 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary in the last three days, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 821,261, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 20 patients died between Friday and Sunday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,171.

The number of recovered patients rose to 783,167, while the number of active cases stands at 7,923.

Some 478 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 71 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,879,178, of whom 5,630,587 have already received their second vaccination. About 714,000 people have already received their third vaccination.
