1,141 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

Some 1,141 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 831,866, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 11 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,341.

The number of recovered patients rose to 790,127, while the number of active cases stands at 11,398.

Some 742 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 113 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,916,769, of whom 5,689,371 have already received their second vaccination. About 948,000 people have already received their third vaccination.
