1,079 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 82,203, with 1,079 new cases and 94 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll stands at 13,249.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 378,734 up from 377,655 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 283,282.
Currently, 3,792 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 304 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,281,992 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 16,850 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 70,264. Pest County is the second most affected, with 47,209 cases, followed by Hajdú-Bihar County (21,366 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 35,878.
Until now, 291,396 people have been vaccinated, and 110,395 of them have already received the second dose as well.
