1,048 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 85,313, with 1,048 new cases and 83 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll stands at 12,739.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 370,336 up from 369,288 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 272,284.
Currently, 3,697 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 269 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,192,378 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 18,337 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 68,737. Pest County is the second most affected, with 46,057 cases, followed by Hajdú-Bihar County (20,928 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 33,061.
Until now, 247,270 people have been vaccinated, and 75,036 of them have already received the second dose as well.
