World Bank forecasts GDP growth of 4.6% for Hungary in 2022

The World Bank forecasts Hungary's economy will expand 4.6% in 2022 in its latest Global Economic Prospects report, state news wire MTI writes.

The forecast was knocked down from 5% in the previous biannual report, released in January.

Hungary's government puts this year's GDP growth at 4.3%.

The World Bank projects Hungary's GDP growth will slow to 3.8% in 2023, under the government's assumption of 4.1% growth.
