Wildhorse Energy to establish Uranium exploration JV in Hungary
Hungary's state-owned Mecsek-Öko and Mecsekérc have signed a cooperation agreement with Australia's Wildhorse Energy on the start of Uranium mining in the Mecsek hills, Wildhorse CFO Chris Dinsdale said in Monday's issue of business daily Napi Gazdaság.
Mr Dinsdale said the joint work is moving in the direction of an assessment of the possibilities. He added that a joint venture would be established in the near future that gives Wildhorse extraction rights for 38.5 tonnes of Uranium and its state-owned partner rights for more than ten tonnes.
Wildhorse expects the Mecsek Uranium project to become one of Europe's biggest.
