Varga puts 2021 GDP growth at 6-6.5%

Finance Minister Mihály Varga said Hungary's GDP is expected to grow 6-6.5% this year at a general meeting of construction industry association ÉVOSZ on Thursday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Early in November, the Finance Ministry lowered its projection for GDP growth this year to 6.8%.

Hungary's GDP growth slowed to 6.1% year-on-year in the third quarter. For the period Q1-Q3, GDP growth reached 7.1%.
