Universities in Hungary, Romania launch cross-border study

The universities of Szeged (SE Hungary) and Arad (NW Romania) have launched a study of land use and natural habitats in the region along the border between Hungary and Romania, the project leaders announced on Monday.
The study, supported with €392,000 in European Union cross-border funding, is set to run until the end of 2012. It involves 14 Hungarian and eleven Romanian researchers.
