Teachers to hold warning strike on December 15

The Democratic Trade Union of Teachers has called for a two-hour warning strike at the start of the day on December 15, chairman Gábor Kerpen said on Wednesday.
The strike will be in protest against several sections of the laws on public education, the budget and public servants and amendments to these laws which may result in the lay-off of 15,000-20,000 teachers, Kerpen said. During the strike, students will need to be taken care of by their parents, he added.
