According to the July 2022 survey by Századvég Konjunktúrakutató, the sense of the economic situation of both consumers and businesses has moderated, writes Világgazdaság.

The consumer index, interpreted on a scale between minus 100 and plus 100, went from minus 14.7 to minus 16.8, and the value of the company indicator decreased from minus 14 to minus 19.

Analysts continue to attribute the drops to the uncertainty caused by the Russo-Ukrainian war and the sanctions introduced.

According to the report, an improvement in economic sentiment is possible when the war and uncertainty in the energy markets end and lower prices develop.
