StatoilHydro makes Norwegian Sea gas discovery
Norway’s StatoilHydro has made a gas and condensate discovery near the Njord field in the Norwegian Sea, energy officials said on Friday.
The size of the discovery in production license 107 has not yet been clarified, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) said in a statement. A sidetrack will be drilled to try to establish the size of the find, the NPD said. (Reuters)
