SMEs Barometer Inches up in Poland
The EFL Barometer, a synthetic indicator informing about the propensity of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for growth, increased by 0.4 points quarter-on-quarter, reaching 48.1 points in third quarter of 2023, according to a report by Ipsos.
Experts pointed out that the number of entrepreneurs expecting larger orders has increased.
The Ipsos report states, that this is the seventh consecutive reading below the 50-point threshold, indicating that MSMEs still do not see significant opportunities for development in the coming months.
However, there is positive news regarding the increase in the number of entrepreneurs expecting larger orders, from 1% in second quarter to 13% in Q3.
The EFL Barometer measures various economic indicators and trends among SMEs in Poland, providing insights into their expectations and plans for growth.
