Small Business Employment Subsidies Help Employ 10,000
Employment subsidies directed at small businesses that can give new hires valuable work experience have supported the placement of more than 10,000 jobseekers, State Secretary for Employment Sándor Czomba said last week.
Czomba noted that applications for the HUF 10 bln in subsidies, announced in December, were submitted for around 12,000 positions.
Over 90% of the funding went to micro businesses and SMEs, according to Czomba.
The report notes that most applicants were in underdeveloped areas in the east of the country.
