Slovenia Jobless Rate Marginally Falls in May

Slovenia's unemployment rate came in at 3.6% at the end of May, 0.1 percentage point lower than in April, data from the Ljubljana-based Statistics Bureau (SURS) showed on Monday.

There were 36,000 unemployed persons in the age group 15-74 in May 2023, of whom 54% were men and 46% were women, according to the release.

In May, the unemployment rate among men was 3.5% and among women was 3.6%.
