Russian state property agency raided in fraud case

A Russian government agency in charge of federal property had its headquarters raided Monday following the arrest of two of its employees in a large-scale fraud case.
“An investigation at the Federal Property Management Agency, including searches and interviews at a rather high level, is taking place as part of an earlier criminal case into embezzlement and property misuse charges,” a police spokesman said. The official did not elaborate, saying only that more arrests were expected later Monday. (rian.ru)
