Pöttyös tops most popular brands list for 2013

Market research company Millward Brown Hungary released its list of the most popular brands in Hungary, with a few local brands still continuing to get good marks. No. 1 on the popularity list was that most Hungarian Pöttyös candy bar, while Facebook and Google placed second and third.
Hungarian products placed sixth and tenth on the list, with most-liked brand names after the top three running Milka, T-Mobile, Pick, Vodafone, Danone, Coca-Cola and Szentkiráyi.
Also noted among the results: Facebook was most popular among singles in the survey of 18- to 59-year-olds; Pick and Unicum were among the tops for men; women ranked Milka, Danone and Ariel highest; and sentiment regarding OTP and MOL was notably extreme in favorable and unfavorable opinions.
