Poland's Sentiment in SME Segment up in Q4
The sentiment in Poland's small and medium enterprise sector (SME) is improving in the fourth quarter, the latest EFL Barometer show as cited by local portal Obserwatorfinansowy.pl.
The main index for the fourth quarter reached 50.4 points, 2.3 points higher than the previous quarter. "A value above the threshold of limited development at 50 points indicates that, in the entrepreneurs' perception, the situation regarding business activities in the coming months will improve," it was stated.
EFL experts note that the reading crossed the 50-point threshold for the first time in two years.
The increasing inclination towards new investments for several quarters is seen as a positive indicator.
At the beginning of the year, only 0.5% of entrepreneurs indicated larger investment plans, while in the current measurement, it is 8%.
