PM schedules official meeting with U.S. ambassador

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has scheduled to meet with U.S. ambassador to Hungary Colleen Bell on March 17, Hungarian online news portal reported.

This will be the first official meeting between the two, although they have reportedly met informally at film producer Andy Vajna’s dinner party.

In response to Origo’s query, spokesperson Bertalan Havasi confirmed that the two officials have scheduled a meeting, but declined to add further details on that meeting. He added that additional information will be published following the talks.
