Napi Gazdaság editors buy out paper

The editors of business daily Napi Gazdaság have raised their stake in the paper from 35% to 100% with the purchase of shares held by Storyline Kft for Ft 520 million, Napi Gazdaság Publisher Kft announced.
The editors made the purchase through their company Napinvest Kft. Napi Gazdaság's markets page editor Tamás G Korányi owns 54% of Napinvest. Other journalists who work or worked for Napi Gazdaság and hold stakes in Napinvest include Andor Almás, Gábor Szenes and Balázs Rónai.
Rónai, who leads Napi Online, the paper's web division, will take over as head of Napi Gazdaság Publisher as a result of the purchase. He will replace László Süle.
Napi Gazdaság's owners have decided to give the paper a new look and made changes to the content in the spring of next year. They stated the aim of making Napi Gazdaság one of the leading business news sources in Hungary.
Napi Gazdaság and its online division are estimated to be worth Ft 800 million.
