MNB council amends first decree, approves remaining ones on borrowers' relief refunds

The Financial Stability Council of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) has amended the first central bank decree and approved the remaining three regulating the methods for calculating compensation banks must pay under borrowers' relief legislation approved in the summer, the MNB said on Thursday.
The first decree, regulating the basic methods for calculating the compensation was approved by the Council on November 4 and took effect on November 8. The decree has been amended to reflect amendments to the borrowers' relief legislation approved by Parliament on November 25.
