MNB Business Confidence Index Climbs in June

The business confidence index of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) climbed to -8 points in June from -10 points in the previous month, the central bank said on Thursday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
Businesses' assessment of their current situation improved to -23 points from -28 points.
The gauge of companies' outlooks declined to +7 points from +9 points.
The indicator for companies' propensity to make investments slipped to +24 points from +36 points. The sub-index for making new hires climbed to +5 points from +2 points.
