MKIK: Business confidence improves slightly in Q1

Business confidence improved slightly in the first quarter from the last quarter of 2015, a gauge of sentiment by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industryʼs (MKIK) Economy and Business Research Institute (GVI) shows.
GVIʼs business confidence index edged up a single point to 33 from January to April.
The uncertainty indicator fell two points to 35, but gauges of profitability at present and in the coming months, as well as business outlook and capacity usage expectations improved.
The indices gauge sentiment on a scale of -100 points to 100 points.
