Microsoft launches free Windows 10

Analysis

Microsoft said yesterday that it is offering free upgrades to Windows 10 for all Windows 7 and Windows 8 users, even for those who currently use pirated versions of the operating system, international news agency Reuters reported. Microsoft’s new operating system Windows 10 is expected to become available for free in Hungary as of this summer.

Windows 10 is scheduled to come out this summer, and every user who owns a device that is compatible with Windows 10 can upgrade to the new system free of charge, including those who currently use pirated versions, Hungary’s Windows chief András Mihály Tóth confirmed with Hungarian online daily index.hu yesterday. “If our clients recognize the perks of using original Windows, we can provide them with an easy opportunity to change to legal versions” the chief added.
