Malév Bombardier offered for just HUF 300 mln

Hungary’s Liquidator National Reorganizácios Nonprofit is offering a Bombardier CRJ200ER aircraft for sale for HUF 300 mln (approximately $1.08 mln) previously owned by grounded national airline Malév, Hungarian business daily Világgazdaság reported today.
The paper said that the current offer was preceded by eleven higher offers. Last year the asking price was $1.7 mln, while in the previous year it was $3.6 mln.
A proposal to make the Bombardier Hungaryʼs government aircraft was already suggested, the paper noted. Financially troubled Malév was grounded early in 2012.
