KSH: Farm gate prices in Hungary drop by 6.1% in 2015

Farm gate prices in Hungary saw a year-on-year drop of 6.1% last year, following the previous year’s drop of 7.8%, with the prices of crops falling by 9.2% and the prices of livestock and animal products falling by 1.1%, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said today.
Hungarian farmers' terms of trade deteriorated by 3.1% in 2014, as farm gate prices fell more than agricultural input prices, which dropped 3.1% from the previous year. Farmers' terms of trade worsened for the second year in a row. These terms deteriorated 9.7% in 2013.
