Hungaryʼs GDP increased 2.6% in the second quarter, compared to the second quarter of 2015, Hungary’s Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported today in a flash estimate. The volume of GDP increased by 1.1% between the first and second quarter of this year, according to seasonally and calendar-adjusted data, KSH said.
The main contributors to growth were market services, as well as industry and agriculture, KSH reported, adding that at the same time, the decreasing output of construction continued to hold back the overall GDP increase.
