Kopint-Tárki knocks down 2022 GDP growth forecast to 4%

Economic research institute Kopint-Tárki lowered its forecast for this year's GDP growth to 4% in a projection released on Thursday from 5% in one published in December, state news wire MTI.
The institute sees domestic consumption climbing 4.3% and gross capital accumulation increasing 4%.
Kopint-Tárki raised its inflation forecast to 8.7% from 5.5% and noted upside risks.
It projects Hungary's current-account deficit will swell to the equivalent of 5% of GDP.
