K&H: SMEs expect a jump  in competitive position

Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises expect a jump in their competitive position almost as great as after the 2008 global economic crisis, according to the second-quarter survey of the K&H confidence index, writes profitline.hu.

Almost a third of SMEs expect an improvement in this regard, with capitalists and medium-sized enterprises being the most optimistic. In terms of their financial capabilities, medium-sized enterprises with an annual turnover of between HUF 300 million and HUF 2 billion are the most optimistic.

Some 45% expect an improvement in their competitive position. In terms of regions, Budapest is the most optimistic, with 35% of SMEs expecting an improvement, while in Western Transdanubia only a fifth (21%) expect special protection for the company in bankruptcy and liquidation proceedings.
