Hungary digital terrestrial broadcast coverage reaches 98%

Terrestrial digital broadcast coverage in Hungary has reached 98% of the population, Antenna Hungaria, which is in charge of the rollout, said on Tuesday.

More than 300,000 households use Antenna Hungaria’s MinDig TV services, which are free of charge, and more than 46,000 viewers subscribe to the MinDig TV Extra pay services, the company said.

Antenna Hungaria has 50 digital transmitters around the country.
