Hungary central bank offers 'money to burn'

The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) on Monday said it is offering bricks of old banknotes pulled from circulation to non-profits for use as heating fuel.
The NBH is calling the tender for the fourth year in a row. Non-profits may apply for the bills, compressed into briquettes, free of charge until September 30.
Each year Hungary's central bank takes 40-50 tonnes of worn bills from circulation.
