Hungary broadband DSL, cable and optical internet subscriptions reach 2,053,000 in November
The number of broadband DSL, cable and optical internet subscriptions in Hungary reached 2,053,000 in November, up 13,000 from the previous month, a fresh report by Hungary’s National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) shows.
The number of DSL subscriptions, which use conventional fixed line technology, was 800,000 in November, up 2,000 from the previous month. The number of cable subscriptions climbed 4,000 to 813,000 and the number of FTTH and FTTB subscriptions, which use optical technology, increased 6,000 to 258,000.
Magyar Telekom controlled 34.8% of the market in November. U% was runner-up with a 20.9% market share and DIGI was in third place with 12.5%.
