Hungarians are becoming more financially aware, according to research from Alfa Biztosító, writes profitline.hu.

Seven out of 10 people think that insurance helps people to be prepared, and eight out of 10 think everyone can do something for their own security and consciously monitor their income and expenses.

According to the research, which also examines the preparedness of Hungarians, this trend is changing: traditionally, they did little to prepare for unexpected challenges.

It is clear from the research results that the most critical challenges facing the respondents today are mainly financial. Only one-third of the population feels prepared for the deterioration of their financial situation.
