GVH clears Monsanto Hungária in oversight procedure
Hungaryʼs Competition Office (GVH) today closed a procedure launched against agribusiness Monsanto Hungária after accepting the companyʼs commitment to bring its advertising in line with the provisions of the law, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
Monsanto Hungária was among 22 sellers of insecticides and pesticides against whom GVH launched the oversight procedure on suspicion of cartel activity, MTI noted. GVH found no violations in the probe and did not levy a fine.
