Government could decide on a border fence today

The Hungarian government is expected to make a decision on what type of fence it will choose of the four “test fences” that were built in Mórahalom, Hungarian daily Napi Gazdaság reported today.
The Hungarian government began building four test fences to determine which would be best suited for the 175 km-long fence that will be erected on the Hungarian-Serbian border to stop illegal immigrants from entering the country.
According to Napi Gazdaság, where the fence passes through flood basins, its foundation should be on piles whereas in other areas concrete is the most suitable foundation.
It was reported earlier that the test fences were being built with the help of Hungarian prisoners.
