GigPlug launches in Hungary

Online job referral portal GigPlug launched its application in Hungary yesterday, according to a press release issued by the company.
GigPlug is an online service through which users can recommend other users from their professional networks, including LinkedIn and Facebook, to jobs posted on GigPlug, and receive a bounty for the recommendation in the event that the company places the candidate.
Once you register and download the application, GigPlug searches your network for suitable matches to open jobs posted by companies registered with GigPlug using an intelligent algorithm. As a user you can then choose to make the recommendation and if the person you recommended is placed in the job you receive a bounty upwards of HUF 100,000.
GigPlug was first launched in the United Kingdom were it currently has several thousand users. At the moment positions in Hungarian are predominantly in the IT sector but GigPlug’s General Manager Chris Dobson expects those numbers to expand rapidly into other sectors as well. The application is also available for download on iPhone and Android devices.
