Forint softens on interbank market
The forint was trading at 310.43 to the euro at 5:30pm on Mondayʼs interbank forex market, down from 308.08 late on Friday. The forint slipped to 282.49 from 279.53 against the dollar. The forint weakened against the dollar from early Monday morning and recovered only slightly late in the afternoon. The forint traded at 283.08 to the Swiss franc, softening from 281.76. Gains in the morning by the forint disappeared by Monday noon.
