Forint mixed on interbank market

Analysis

The forint traded at 309.61 to the euro shortly after 17:30 on Thursdayʼs interbank market, firming from 310.09 late Wednesday.

On Thursday the euro moved between 310.18 and 308.65. The forint weakened against the euro in the early morning hours but following 11am it started strengthening. Following 4pm the forint again lost some ground.

The forint traded at 271.52 to the dollar, down from 271.03 late on Wednesday. The dollar slowly but steadily strengthened against the forint on Thursday.

The forint was quoted at 285.75 to the Swiss franc compared to 284.60 on Thursday.
