Externet to receive listing aid

Analysis

Listed Hungarian ISP/media firm econet.hu announces a Ft 22.4 million state grant transfer to a subsidiary to aid listing, the company announced in a press release on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange.

econet.hu said in a report earlier that it would list telecommunications and Internet Service Provider Externet on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) by the beginning of 2008.

The Ft 22.4 million to be granted by the Economy Ministry is a non-refundable subsidy, provided Externet meets the conditions set, such as listing on the BSE. (BSE)
