Analysis

Every fourth Pole does not know what pension they will receive when retired, while 40% of citizens count on getting at least 50% of their current salary, according to a study conducted by UCE Research for Business Insider Polska.

The biggest share of respondents expects a pension in the range of 71-80% of their salary, they were mainly people over 50 years old, while only 5% hope that their pension will be the same as their salary or even higher, wrote web portal ISB News citing the study.

Almost two-thirds of the respondents were people aged 18 to 44, i.e. those who will retire in the next 20-30 and sometimes even 40 years.
