EC approves €4 mln in aid to Hungary for refugee crisis

The European Commission approved a resolution today to provide €4 mln in emergency assistance to Hungary to handle the current refugee crisis in the country, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

The money is to be used to process asylum seekers arriving to Hungary, to improve existing reception areas and create new ones, to facilitate transportation and provide the necessary staff and tools to handle the current crisis situation that is escalating daily, according to the resolution.
