Business and consumer confidence improved in February from the previous month, state news wire MTI reports, citing a gauge of sentiment by think tank Századvég.
Századvég's business confidence index rose to -13.0 from -16.4 during the period, as outlooks for the national economy improved, while price expectations were downbeat.
The consumer confidence index climbed to -20.3 from -22.4 as assessments of material situations worsened but pessimism over inflation eased and people were less negative about the economic environment.
