Business, Consumer Confidence Improve in April

Business and consumer confidence improved in April from the previous month, state news wire MTI reports, citing a gauge of sentiment by think tank Századvég.
Századvég's business confidence index climbed to -13.2 from -15.2 during the period as gauges of the national economy, sector-specific environments, production, and the overall business environment improved.
The consumer confidence index rose to -18.2 from -19.2 as measures of inflation, the economic environment, and households' material situations improved, but pessimism concerning the outlook for employment grew.
