Business Confidence Worsens, Consumer Confidence Improves

Business confidence edged lower, while consumer confidence improved a bit in March from the previous month, news agency MTI reports, citing a gauge of sentiment by think tank Századvég.
Századvég's business confidence index fell to -15.2 from -13.0 during the period as gauges of the national economy, production, and the business environment dropped.
The consumer confidence index improved to -19.2 from -20.3 as pessimism regarding employment, the national economy, and households' material situations waned, but inflation remained the biggest negative factor.
